Thought provoking...

While the design concepts featured in this clip may seem radical and unrealistic they challange the idea of tangibility and the emotional response, proving to be most inspirational and thought provoking.

Week 1

After being introduced to the project "I-sense-you" I explored the areas of assistive technology and tangible interactions, both new to me. It was interesting to discover different ways of communicating intentions or emotions, especially for those individuals who are unable to do certain tasks unassisted.

Reflection:
This lecture introduced me to a new and challanging approach to design. Designing for those in need of connection is relatively simple based on existing technologies and advanced software, however, by disallowing the use of a 'screen' we are really forced to think outside the box.
